What is Qantas Pathfinders Charity Flight?
The 2011 Qantas Pathfinders Charity Flight is a major fundraiser for the Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind children (RIDBC), and is now a popular fixture on the Pathfinders fundraising calendar, having kicked off in 2002 with a flight to Longreach.
This year you have a chance to sample the best Kingfisher Bay Resort, Fraser Island has to offer – in one day!
All the while, you’ll be helping one of Australia’s most important children’s charities; the Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children (RIDBC).

Destination: Kingfisher Bay Resort, Fraser Island
Date: Saturday November 5, 2011
Time: Flight departs at 6.45am and returns around 8.00pm (to be confirmed)
Cost: $800 per person

- 09.00 Arrive Urangan Boat Harbour.
- 09.15 Depart Urangan Boat Harbour aboard M.V. Spirit of Hervey Bay.
- 10.15 Arrive Kingfisher Bay Resort, meet & greet by Resort Rangers and undertake a short interpretive walk through resort grounds.
- 10.45 Arrive in the Atrium for bush tucker infused canapés and beverages.
- 11.30 Guests seated for lunch in the Maheno Restaurant.
- 14.00 Guests depart Kingfisher Bay Resort on tour buses.
- 14.45 Arrive Lake McKenzie, afternoon tea served.
